New strategic partnership delivers the latest player evaluation technology to
Indiana Soccer’s Olympic Development Program and network of 140 member clubs.

Westfield, IN (June 18, 2020) – ODP Director, Todd Sheely is pleased to announce that Indiana Soccer has partnered with TeamGenius, the leading athlete evaluation app for tryouts, evaluations, and player development.

With this new partnership, Indiana Soccer will leverage TeamGenius’ innovative athlete evaluation tools for Olympic Development roster selection and athlete evaluations. This also provides an opportunity for member clubs to implement the technology to aid in accomplishing their own tryout & player development goals.

“Indiana Soccer is excited to be partnering with TeamGenius, a company that provides the best player evaluation app for sports tryouts, camps, and team evaluations,” said Indiana Soccer ODP Director Todd Sheely. “At ODP we see this as a unique opportunity to enable our players and coaching staff with tools that will optimize data entry, save time during soccer tryouts and evaluations. We are confident that our staff will make the most of the software for player evaluation throughout the season to where our kids can benefit the most. I would encourage clubs in Indiana to add this software to their player development toolbox and help elevate players’ performance for future success.”

TeamGenius player evaluation software and mobile app will be used to evaluate, roster, and provide feedback for the Indiana Soccer Olympic Development Program’s coaches and players. The transition to digital evaluations will provide additional efficiencies, structure, and transparency for Indiana Soccer, and give coaches the ability to share player development progress at any time during the process.

“Anytime technology can be coupled with the professional contribution of coaches, the player benefits.  Team Genius is an intuitive, web-based technology that allows multiple coaches to provide player feedback using a common format and structure.  The resulting evaluations can be used to guide the player’s development and to assist college coaches in identifying players that are a good match for their college roster”, stated Dave Guthrie, Executive Director of Indiana Soccer.

“Indiana Soccer has always been a leader in youth soccer programming, perfectly balancing a kids-first approach with high-quality competitive programs for top-level players,” said Chris Knutson, CEO of TeamGenius. “We are excited to bring better evaluations to their network of member clubs and further support the Olympic Development Program through this partnership. The future of youth soccer in America is bright and player development is going to be a key factor to reach the next level. It’s an honor to work with such an intelligent group of individuals like the staff at Indiana Soccer.”
