The Challenge
With about 800 players to evaluate, Sporting Omaha was struggling with the logistics of tryouts. While their process was working, it wasn’t as efficient as it could be. Evaluators only had player names (no photos) on evaluation forms so they couldn’t put a face to a player. Results were also delayed – and at risk for typos and other errors – as scores were manually compiled, and coaches and evaluators were using different evaluation criteria.
The Solution
To improve its evaluation process, Sporting Omaha FC turned to TeamGenius during player evaluations. The Club used the tool to streamline tryouts and post-tryouts communications.

The club was able to create athlete profiles that will be used from year-to-year and attach images of each player. “Having player pictures with evaluations at all times made the athletes easy to identify, and evaluators were able to put a face to
